Jersey eSports - Rules
- You are allowed to enter up to 3 games at each event for league points
- At each unique event you are not allowed to compete in the same game genre twice
- If a gamer has been found to have cheated, any titles they will have received will be revoked and they will face a ban as determined by the JESA
- Clan based matches may consist of up to 5 players, there is no minimum for a clan entry
- Each game will have a defined rule set, which must be followed, failure to do so will result in a null result for the person breaking the rule set. If the game is to be replayed or the other player disqualified will be decided by the JESA
- Any decision can be overturned by the JESA committee based on circumstances surrounding the issue
- You will be allowed the use of your own personal controller at events, so long as the controller does not use a feature such as "turbo" or "macro" or any other advantage that enhances the players ability to a degree that is outside of human control
Event Rules
- You will require a membership to partake in the JESA events
- Should you be under the age of 18, you will need a parental consent form to be signed before you are allowed to register
- If you break any equipment due to force or a nature that is determined to have been a result of excessive force or any other nature you will have to pay for it, should the equipment have failed due to fault or reason outside of your control it will not be determined as your fault, and will be covered by JESA
- Should you turn up to an event with your computer for LAN competitions, you will be provided 2 plug sockets, 1 for Monitor, 1 for PC, any additional sockets will have to be requested before event day. Power adapters will not be accepted.
- Should you bring a gaming accessory that requires external power to an event, you must request permission before the event day to be able to use it
- Should you wish to compete in a game other than the ones listed for the event you must request the game 48 hours before the event starts to allow time for others to challenge before the event as well as prepare the game for the event
- You are only allowed to partake in 3 event scoring games which must all be in different genres, after the scoring events have finished, you are free to play any game afterwards that are available.
- When waiting to play a game you must follow the queue system, this involves placing your member ID card next to the game you wish to play, as soon as the current game being played has finished it's round, the players must rotate in the order of the member ID cards having been placed down
- If you are causing disruption, you will be ejected from the event and refused re-entry
Points Scoring Rules
- For each game you enter in an event competition you will receive 100 points
- For each person you beat in a game event you will receive 100 points towards the gamer league
- If the game event has over 10 people involved, the winner will receive an additional +500 points and runner up +250 points
- If the game event has over 20 people involved, the winner will receive an additional +1000 points and runner up +500 points
- If the game event has over 25 people involved, the winner will receive an additional +2500 points and runner up +1000 points
